the truth is out there
jk! i’m not sure that’s true. but i’ve always been fascinated by the drive to find objective truth and the wild human history of misrepresentation - stolen identities, hoaxes, catfishing, long cons, fake news. even more interesting is the increasingly blurry line between the two: conspiracy theories, unconfirmed social media journalism, debunked memoirs. i’ll write about something along these lines twice a week, and who knows, maybe eventually we’ll hit on something ~real~.
